Hey there, welcome. I hope you are having a wonderful 2024 so far. In today’s post, I‘d like to share my DT creation for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. The theme for the next two weeks is as always “Anything Goes”, and Streamside Studios as our generous sponsor offers 3 digis sets up to $15 value to one lucky winner, so I really hope you will find some time to join us in the fun.
To make this card, I started with scoring my card base. Then I stenciled some balloons using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink. While it was drying, I colored my cute turtles with markers. Those images are from the set called Turtley Awesome Woodland Friends. After fussy cutting the adorable images, I folded my card base to get a bridge card. Next, I adhered pieces of patterned paper and the computer-generated sentiment strip. Before gluing the turtles to the card, I added some white highlights to them. This card seemed to be busy enough, so I didn’t add any embellishments and called it a day.
