Add a Sentiment Challenge at Creative Knockouts

Hey there and welcome. In this post, I want to share my DT creation for Creative Knockouts. The theme for the next two weeks is “Add a Sentiment”, and Connie Fong as our generous sponsor offers 3 single digi images to one winner, so I really hope you will find some time to join us.

The beautiful image that I played with for this challenge is called Ariela Mermaid. It is such a gorgeous image, so full of details! For coloring, I used alcohol markers. Next, I did some die cutting: first the frame, then the sentiment. As a final touch, I just applied Crystal Stickles, and my card was done.

Hey there and welcome. Today, I want to share my DT creation for The Crafter’s Cafe. The theme is ‘Round and Round (so you just have to add some circles on your creations)’, and SheepSki Designs as our generous sponsor offers 3 images to one winner, so I hope you will find some time to join in the fun.

To make the card, I started with inking up my card base using Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean. Then I spritzed it with water to get a more interesting pattern. While the card base was drying, I colored up the image. It is called Tropical, and it’s such an adorable and fun image to color. The branch isn’t actually that long, so after printing, I extended it myself. For coloring, I used alcohol markers. After coloring, I did some did cutting. Next, I applied some Crystal Stickles and Glossy Accents. As a final touch, I added some white highlights here and there, and my card was done.
