Hey there and welcome. I hope your week got off to a fantastic start. In this post, I’d like to share my first DT creation for Dream Valley. Our theme is “2 or More Papers”, and one lucky winner has the chance to win the prize offered by Hetty Clare.
The image I played with for this challenge is called The Sunflower, and I colored it using Copic markers. I should have chosen the papers first, I know. But when card making, the coloring process is what I enjoy the most, so I again ended up having the colored image before having chosen the right patterned paper. Well, one of my New Year’s Resolutions is to use up all of my scraps anyway, so I created my own background with a bunch of scrap strips. I also decorated the inside using the last piece of scrap. I left out the sentiment as I will add a personalized one later when needed. As a final touch, I added some white highlights, and my card was done.
I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!
Hugs,
Jinny
Stamp used: The Sunflower (Hetty Clare)
