A Christmas Gift Box for Creative Knockouts

Hi there and welcome. I hope you have a fantastic week so far. In today’s post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Creative Knockouts. Our theme for the next two weeks is ‘Christmas in July’, and Polkadoodles as our generous sponsor offers 3 images to one lucky winner, so I really hope you will find some time to join us.

For this challenge, I made a gift box. I started with coloring the adorable image called Hot Chocolate with markers. Then I fussy cut it and added white highlights here and there. Next, I cut the DP and distressed the edges. After that, I scored and folded the box. I then adhered the DP and assembled the box. For gluing the image, I grabbed foam tapes. As a finishing touch, I added some gems, and my gift box was done.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

A Pencil Holder for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge

Hi there and welcome. I hope you have a fantastic week so far. In this post, I'd like to share my DT creation for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge. Our theme is as always Anything Goes, so I hope you will find some time to play along with us.

For this challenge, I made a pencil holder. This one I made for myself, so I adjusted the size to my personal needs. The ones I have made before (here and here) were all bigger in size. The image I played with this time is called School Girl Avery, and I colored it in with markers. To decorate the holder, I used up some scrap DP. Before adding the image with foam tapes, I added white highlights. As a finishing touch, I adhered three gems, and my pencil holder was done.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

A New Challenge at The Crafter’s Cafe

Hey there and welcome. I hope your week got off to a great start. In this post, I’d like to share my DT make for The Crafter's Cafe. We have Polkadoodles as our fabulous sponsor, so I hope you’ll find some time to join us in the fun.

For this challenge, I made a gift box. The image I played with is called Party Little Dude, and I colored it with markers. The DP I used here are included in the digi. To finish off the box, I added three gems and white highlights.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

A Sending Hugs Card for LPOCF

Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a fabulous day. In this post, I'd like to share my DT creation for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. The theme is as always “Anything Goes”, and we have Rachelle Ann Miller as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us in the fun.

For this challenge, I made an encouragement card. The image I used is called Summer Rain, and I colored it in with markers. After coloring, I added white highlights here and there. To add the sentiment, I did the eclipse technique. This is by far one of my most favorite techniques whenever I want to add a sentiment without covering up any parts of the image itself. Then I matted the panel on dark pink cardstock and adhered it on a top folding card base.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny
