Love/Valentine's/Anniversary Challenge at Creative Knockouts

Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a fabulous week so far. In today’s post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Creative Knockouts. The theme for the next two weeks is “Love/Valentine's/Anniversary”, and Polkadoodles as our generous sponsor offers 3 digis to one lucky winner, so I really hope you will find some time to join us.

To make this card, I started with stenciling my background with Broken China and Peeled Paint Distress inks. While it was drying, I fussy cut the pre-colored image called Happy Cacti Cactus Cup. Next, I cut three strips of Kraft card stock and drew wood grain marks using Prisma colored pencil. I then attached a piece of acetate behind the middle part of my 'fence'. After adhering the fence onto my card base, I glued the image and the sentiment. As a finishing touch, I added three gems and applied Crystal Stickles, and my card was done.
