Hey there and welcome. I hope your week got off to a fantastic start. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Dream Valley. Our theme is “Add a Sentiment”, and one lucky winner has the chance to win the prize offered by Color of Love.
The image I played with for this challenge is called Rosi With Wild Daffodil. After coloring it with markers, I added white highlights and set it aside to dry for a while. Next, I made my hexagon box card base and also stenciled the cloud background using Broken China Distress Ink. After assembling and gluing my card base, I also adhered the patterned papers. The image, I added directly onto my background using foam tapes. For decorating, I grabbed some die-cut flowers from my stash. I should have stamped the sentiment before adding all the parts, but to be honest, I had totally forgotten about it. So, I very carefully stamped my greeting at this point. I then drew and colored two little butterflies and added them to the card. As a finishing touch, I applied Crystal Stickles, and my card was done.
I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!
Hugs,
Jinny
