Fun Fold Challenge at Creative Knockouts

 Hi there and welcome. I hope you have a fantastic week so far. In today’s post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Creative Knockouts. Our theme for the next two weeks is ‘Fun Fold’, and All Dressed Up as our generous sponsor offers 2 images to one lucky winner, so I really hope you will find some time to join us.

For this challenge, I made a pop-out gatefold card. I started with stenciling the background. While it was drying, I colored in the digi called 'It’s Snowing' with markers. Next, I die cut a scalloped rectangle to go with my image. After distressing the edges, I adhered the panel onto the die cut. Then I made the card base. I love that it looks more complicated than it actually is. And it displays so nicely, pretty effective. The stenciled parts, I glued directly onto my card base. For the image, I grabbed foam tapes. As a finishing touch, I added some white highlights, and my card was done.

A New Challenge at Penny’s Paper-Crafty

 Hi there and welcome. I hope you have a fantastic week so far. In this post, I’d like to share my DT card for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge. Our theme is always Anything Goes, so I hope you will find some time to play along with us.

The image I played with is called Winnie Daisy Taking a Break Toadstool, and I colored it with markers. It’s such an adorable image, so much fun! After coloring, I die cut it and matted it on a scalloped die-cut piece. It was then when I realized that my finished panel was bigger than the card bases I normally use. And as I had run out of my 12x12 cardstock, I couldn’t make a bigger one. So, I decided to create a hexagon-shaped card base from all the scrap cardstock bits that I could find in my stash. But in the end, it turned out better than I hoped for, and I’m really happy with the result. I was actually so happy that I even forgot to add my sentiment, but well I can live with that :-)

A Gift/Treat Box for LPOCF

 Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a fabulous Sunday. In this post, I‘d like to share my DT creation for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. The theme is as always “Anything Goes”, and we have The Paper Shelter as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us in the fun.

For this challenge, I made a treat/gift bag. To make it easier, I used the pre-colored image from the Tea Time set. How convenient, especially if you want to make a bunch of them as party favors! The next time I make them, I’ll be pairing birthday related sentiments with these boxes. To make the box, I followed Pootles Papercraft’s instructions on YouTube.

For this challenge, I played with the image called Garden Party. For coloring this fun image, I grabbed Copic markers. After that, I matted it onto red cardstock. I then added white highlights. To add the sentiment, I did the eclipse technique.
