A Bold and Bright Birthday Card

Hey there and welcome. I hope you all had a jolly Christmas time. We had a lot of snow right before and during Christmas and when shoveling snow, I hurt my back :-( So, I kind of got sick of all those snowy wintry images and made a bright summery birthday card :-) The image I used is called Clematis Trellis, and I colored it with Copic markers. Such a beautiful image, I wish my garden would look more like this right now. Anyway, as I didn’t want to cover any part of the gorgeous image, I decided to add the sentiment with the help of the eclipse technique. To make the greeting really stand out, I die cut three more sentiments from white card stock and glued them all together. Next, I matted the image onto a purple die cut circle. Then I adhered a piece of patterned paper onto my card base and glued the circle on top. After adhering my dimensional sentiment, I added some white highlights and gold dots to the flowers. As a final touch,  I applied Crystal Stickles and Glossy Accents onto my greeting, and my card was done.

I hope you like how it turned out.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope to see you all again soon.

Have a wonderful day.

Hugs,

Jinny
