One layer birthday card

Hello and welcome. I hope your week is off to a good start so far.
Here is the card I am sharing today:

To make the card, I tried two new techniques (at least for me).
The first technique I tried is mirror stamping. The second one is “block coloring” (I don´t know how to call it correctly). I didn´t color the actual stamped images but only the background. I have never done this before and felt weird leaving the images uncolored, but I really like the final look of it. To create the background, I used my precious water-color pencils and drew in the clouds, grass and balloon.
I hope you like how my card turned out.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Jinny

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:
Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #23 – Try a New Technique (mirror stamping & block coloring)
MFT Color Challenge #88

Jinny
