A New Challenge at Creative Knockouts

Hey there and welcome. Today, I want to share my DT project for Creative Knockouts. This week’s theme is "Die Cuts & Punches". Our generous sponsor SheepSki Designs offers 3 images for one lucky winner, and that could be you, so I really hope you will find some time to play along with us!

The image of my choice is 'Fuchsias image no 7'. I love how detailed this digi is, so much fun to color in! Whenever I want to make an image really stand out, I love to add the sentiment by using the eclipse technique like I did here. As a final touch, I applied lots of Stickles on my sentiment, and my card was done.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

A Spring Themed Card in the Middle of January

Hey there and welcome. Today, I want to share this spring themed card. To make it, I used one of my most favorite background dies. It is so intricate and absolutely gorgeous, so much fun to work with :)

I hope you like how my card turned out. Thanks for stopping by and keep safe!

Hugs,

Jinny

“Something New” Challenge at the Crafter’s Cafe

Hey there and welcome. Today, I want to share my DT project for the Crafter’s Cafe. The theme is “Something New”, and Angie’s Variety Store as our generous sponsor offers 2 images to one lucky winner, so I hope you will find some time to join in the fun.

The image of my choice is called Little Lila With a Butterfly. It is such an adorable image! To make this card, I decided to create my own cross-stitched background (well, the pandemic let me have enough time to stay at home and try this out). As I don’t own any background dies suitable for cross stitching, I even punched the holes myself... It took me like ages to finish off this background, and even though I like the final result, I will first purchase a cross stitch die before I do this again :)

I hope you like how my card turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

“Something to Say” Challenge at Creative Knockouts

Hey there and welcome. This is my first blog post of 2021, so I want to say: I wish you all the best for 2021 and a year of happy crafting!

In this post, I also want to share my DT project for Creative Knockouts. This week’s theme is “Something to Say”, so you just need to include a sentiment on your project, and you are good to join us. Jan’s Digi Stamps as our generous sponsor offers a $10 gift code for one lucky winner to use in their shop, and that could be you, so I really hope you will find some time to play along with us!

The image of my choice is called 'Boy Climbing Tree'. I struggle a lot with making boy cards, especially when it comes to creations for teen-aged boys. So, I decided to make this very simple and just concentrated on coloring this wonderful digi. I also did not add any embellishments to really keep the focus on the image only.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny
