A Birthday Card

Hello and welcome. It’s been a long while since I posted my last card on this blog. To get started again, I made a very simple one layer birthday card. After stamping the sentiment, I mounted all the small stamps on a acrylic block and stamped them at once, which saved me a lot of time. The recipient of this card was born in May (emerald is supposed to be the birthstone), so I used three shades of green watercolor pencils to color the images. It actually took me only 15 minutes to make :)

A tri-fold card

Hello and welcome. Today I am sharing with you an interactive card:

It was a quick card, I used several scraps of patterned paper and also grabbed a die cut piece of cardstock from my stash. The image was one which I colored while watching the Olympic Games. I didn´t use any embellishments as I found that the pattern was busy enough. I finished off the card without a sentiment, therefore it is suitable for any occasion.

Hallo und herzlich willkommen. Diesmal habe ich eine interaktive Faltkarte zu zeigen. Diese Karte war ziemlich schnell gebastelt, weil ich aus meinem Papiersammelsurium die Papierreste, ein Stück Fotokarton (bereits ausgestanzt) entnehmen konnte. Das Motiv hatte ich beim Zuschauen der Olympischen Spiele koloriert. Auf Embellishments habe ich verzichtet, da ich die verwendeten Motivpapiere schon als genug empfand. Ich hoffe, dass meine Karte euch gefällt.
