Border Time Challenge at Creative Knockouts

Hey there and welcome. Today I want to share with you my DT project for Creative Knockouts. This week’s theme is “Border Time”, and LeAnn’s World as our generous sponsor offers 2 images to one lucky winner, and that could be you, so I really hope you will find some time to play along with us!

The image of my choice is called Painter Girl, and I decided to create a tag/bookmark. I made it for one of my students, so I chose to use her favorite colors: purple, blue, and pink. Her birthday is in two weeks, and as she loves manga images, I am quite sure that she will like it a lot.

The image of my choice was Cosmos, and I decided to make a bookmark. After coloring those beautiful flowers, I cut them by hand. Then I dry embossed a piece of white card stock, and then adhered all the elements to complete my bookmark.

The image of my choice was this adorable dragon called Morpheus. After coloring this cutie, I decided to turn it into a simple bookmark. So, all I did was die cutting, adding some ribbon, and adhering all the elements.

After coloring the image, I wasn’t sure how to pull it together, so I first made an orange colored card base and then glued down some patterned paper. I wanted the image to really stand out, so I adhered it off the card.

 Hey there and welcome. Today I want to share my DT project for the Crafter’s Cafe. The theme is “Anything Goes”, and All Dressed Up as our fabulous sponsor offers 2 images, so I hope you will find some time to play along with us.

The image I used is called Two Little Mice, and I decided to make a simple bookmark. After coloring, I grabbed a piece of grey scrap card stock, added some ribbon and then adhered the image with foam tape. To finish it off, I also added faux stitching.
