Simple Masking to Create a Scene

Hey there and welcome. Today I want to share with you this card. To create this little scene, I did mask off the cute butterfly baby and then stamped the flowers. For coloring, I used watercolor pencils. Sentiment will be added if needed later.

I hope you like how my card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and keep safe!

Hugs,

Jinny

Something to Say Challenge at Creative Knockouts

Hey there and welcome. Today I want to share with you my DT project for Creative Knockouts. This week’s theme is “Something to Say”, so just include a sentiment on your project, and you can join in the fun. SheepSki Designs is our generous sponsor and offers 3 digi images to one lucky winner, and that could be you, so I really hope you will find some time to play along with us!

The image of my choice was this gorgeous mermaid, just beautiful and so much fun to color! After coloring the main images, I decided to create an underwater scene. I have never done underwater coloring before and creating scenes is not what I do very often, so this was a real challenge for me :) But I am satisfied with my first attempt and think I will do that more often in the future. To add my sentiment, I die cut the panel using a sentiment die and also added a small hello stamping. As a final touch, I applied a bit of crystal Stickles and Glossy Accents to simulate bubbles, and my card was finished.

I hope you like how my card turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny
