A Monochrome Birthday Card for Dream Valley

Hey there and welcome. I hope your week got off to a fantastic start. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Dream Valley Challenges. Our theme is “Any Celebration”, and I really hope you’ll find some time to join us.

For this challenge I made a birthday card. I used a pre-colored image from Fred She Said and cut it into a square. Next, I die cut the sentiment to do the eclipse technique. Then I matted the panel onto dark blue card stock and layered the sentiment die cut pieces to create some dimension. As a finishing touch, I added some gems, and my card was done.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

A CAS Spring Card for Creative Knockouts

Hi there and welcome. I hope you have a fantastic week so far. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Creative Knockouts. Our theme for the next two weeks is ‘Spring is in the Air’, and we have Dr. Digis as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us.

The image I played with for this challenge is called Bertha’s Bloomin Box, and I colored it with markers. After fussy cutting, I adhered it directly onto my card base. To finish it off, I added some sequins. The sentiment will be added later when needed.
