A Card in Yellow and Blue for Dream Valley

Hey there and welcome. I hope your week got off to a fantastic start. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Dream Valley Challenges. Our theme is hand-colored images, and I hope you’ll find some time to join us.

For this challenge I made an encouragement card. I started with coloring the image with markers. Next, I made the background using some card stock scraps. I then matted the panel on blue card stock piece and glued that onto my card base. The image and sentiment I adhered directly on the front panel. As a finishing touch, I added white highlights and dots.

 Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. Our theme is as always “Anything Goes”, and we have SheepSki Designs as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us in the fun.

 For this challenge I made a gift box. The cute image is called It’s a Spring Thing, and I colored it with markers. I then scored and folded the box. Next, I adhered the colored panel on the box base. After assembling the box, I added some sequins as a finishing touch.

 Hi there and welcome. I hope you have a great day. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Creative Knockouts. Our theme for the next two weeks is Real or Faux Stitching, and we have Rachelle Anne Miller as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us.

 The image I played with for this challenge is called Stacked Frogs, and I colored it with markers. Next, I made the base for the bookmark. Instead of using patterned paper scraps, I grabbed card stock scraps this time. I then adhered the colored image directly onto the base. As a finishing touch, I added a bunch of sequins, faux stitching lines, and twine.

A Girly Hello Card in Pink

 Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a fabulous day. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Creations in Pink. Our theme is always “Anything Goes in Mainly Pink”, so just as long as you have MORE PINK than any other colors in your creations, you’re good to join in the fun.

For this challenge, I made a hello card. The image I used is called Ella Fleur, and I colored it with markers. To add the sentiment, I did the eclipse technique. I then matted the finished panel on pink scalloped card stock. As a finishing touch, I added some gems, and my card was done.

 The adorable image I played with is called Bushy Tails. For coloring, I used markers. I had already made a bunch of tag bases a while ago, so all I had to do was adhering the colored image onto one of them. As a finishing touch, I added some sequins and twine, and my tag was done.
