Colors From the Garden Challenge at The Crafter’s Cafe: Card #2

Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a wonderful week so far. In this post, I’d like to share my DT project for The Crafter’s Cafe. The theme is Colors From the Garden, and we have two generous sponsors for this challenge: SheepSki Designs and Olga Odynets.

The adorable image I played with is called Little Princess Gardening Fairy. For coloring this cutie, I used alcohol markers. Next, I adhered a piece of patterned paper onto my card base. After die cutting the colored panel, I die cut a bigger piece of white cardstock and colored that in with the darkest pink shade I used for coloring the digi. After gluing them onto my card base, I decided to add a die-cut butterfly. For coloring it, I grabbed my alcohol markers again. As I didn’t want to distract from the sweet image by adding too many embellishments, I just added some white highlights, and my card was done.
