A Shaker Card in Blue

Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a great week so far. In today’s post, I’d like to share an almost monochrome congrats card. To make this, I used a gorgeous digi called Grateful Heart A2 Card Panel. For coloring, I grabbed alcohol markers. Next, I hand cut the center of the image to create a frame for my shaker card. After adhering a piece of acetate, I added foam tapes for dimension, and put some silver sequins as my shaker elements. Then I die cut a sentiment, colored it with the darkest blue shade that I had already used for the flowers, and glued it onto the acetate window.

Christmas in July Challenge at Creative Knockouts

Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a wonderful week so far. In today’s post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Creative Knockouts. The theme for the next two weeks is “Christmas in July”, and Alex Syberia Designs as our generous sponsor offers a $15 voucher for digi images to one winner, so I really hope you will find some time to join us.

The image I played with for this challenge is called Gingerbread House. I used the image that comes with the sentiment. After coloring with alcohol markers, I die cut the entire panel using a puzzle die from Hero Arts. Next, I carefully cut out one puzzle piece and then adhered the rest of the panel onto the card base. The one special piece I glued with foam adhesive and applied Crystal Stickles on top. As a finishing touch, I added some sequins, and my Christmas card was done.

A Guest Design Card for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge

Hey there and welcome. I hope you have a great week so far. In today’s post, I’d like to share a guest design card that      I made for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge. The theme is Anything Goes, and I decided to make a Christmas card. The cute image I used is called Elf Painting Train. After coloring it with Prisma colored pencils, I hand cut it. Next, I die cut    a frame from red embossed cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment directly onto my card base. While the greeting was drying, I adhered a piece of acetate and my hand-cut image to the frame. After that, I glued some gems and sequins in red onto the card base. After putting some clear beads and sequins, I adhered the frame, and my shaker card was done.

A New Challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends

Hey there, I wish you all a very happy Sunday. In today’s post, I'd like to share my DT creation for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. The theme for the next two weeks is as always “Anything Goes”, and All Dressed Up as our generous sponsor offers 2 images to one lucky winner, so I really hope you will find some time to join us in the fun.

The adorable image that I played with is called Pool Party. I started with coloring the cute image with alcohol markers and then fussy cut it. I should have begun with patterned paper, but I couldn’t resist coloring the image first. Then I dug in my stash of DP and realized that the paper I was searching for was not there anymore :( As an alternative, I took vellum instead and colored it with alcohol markers. Before hand cutting, I roughly drew curvy lines to imitate waves. After adhering all the parts, I hand wrote my sentiment. As a finishing touch, I applied Crystal Stickles and Glossy Accents, and my card was done.
