Congratulations Card

Hello and welcome. This time I want to show you a simple card (again) using some beautiful cardstock I found in my local craft store. I have never thought that I would fall in love with cardstock, but this one is just way too pretty! It is kind of “pearlised” and has such a wonderful sheen, and when I tilt it, it shines iridescently... so gorgeous! I wish it would show on the photos. Anyway, I used bold flower stamps and white heat embossed the images on vellum. I then used my Copic markers to color them (on the back). I love the look of vellum on cards. The colors are so beautifully subdued on vellum, so lovely! To assemble the card, I just added frame die cuts, adhered the flower images using dimensional adhesives and finally added the sentiment.

I hope you like how my card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Thinking of You

Hello and welcome. This time I want to share with you a very simple card. I used just one flower stamp to create this background. After coloring and die cutting it, I stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum. I love the look of vellum on cards! Anyway, I also die cut the front of the card base and adhered all the prepared pieces.

I hope you like how my card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Using scraps

Hello and welcome. I wonder if it’s only me, but I keep a small container full of scraps. I don’t have the heart to throw away all these beautiful scraps of patterned papers or inked backgrounds. So, I grabbed some scraps and created this background. As the background was quite busy, I kept the rest of the card really simple. The sentiment I stamped on vellum and added little hearts to hide the foam tape behind them.

I hope you like how my card turned out.

An Altered Image

Hello everyone and welcome! This time I want to share how I altered a stamped image.
I used two adorable C.C. Designs stamps. The girl holding an ice cream cone is the one I wanted to alter. I wanted her to wear a party hat and to hold a bouquet of flowers. I stamped an extra party hat and left the ice cream uncolored.

After fussy cutting the image, I adhered it directly onto the card base. Then I covered the ice cream using three flowers. I also put on the party hat and added some gems.

I hope you like how my card turned out.

A Colorful Easter Card

Hello and welcome. This time I want to share an Easter themed card. The sentiment says “colorful Easter greetings” in German. I wrote it myself, as I don’t have such a sentiment stamp. The sketch is from MFT challenge.

I hope you like how my card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
