Hey there and welcome. Today, I want to share my DT project for Creative Knockouts. The theme for this week is “Friendship”, and our generous sponsor LeAnn's World 101 offers 2 images for one lucky winner, so I really hope you will find some time to play along with us!
This adorable digi is called Hello Friend, and I used Prisma colored pencils for coloring. From my stash, I grabbed a background panel, which I had already made a few month ago. To create this, I had used a background stamp from Hero Arts, which I then heat embossed with Holographic Embossing Powder from Ranger. For coloring, I had grabbed some Distress inks. After cutting and adhering the background on the card base, I moved on to the embellishments. With my scissors, I cut out some seaweed from vellum and colored them with alcohol markers. I also wanted to have some rocks, so I drew them myself and colored them with Prisma pencils again. To stamp the sentiment, I die cut a circle out of vellum, which I colored using alcohol markers. Finally, I die cut a border out of Kraft card stock to simulate sand. After assembling and adhering all the prepared parts, I added some Stickles and pearls as a final touch, and my card was done.
