A Happy Birthday Card

Hey there and welcome. For this card, I did some masking and so created a simple garden scene. This girl image is too adorable, and I think it goes pretty well with the flowers. For coloring, I used watercolor pencils. I ran out of my red card stock, so I inked up an ivory card base using Candid Apple Distress Oxide Ink and spritzed it with water to achieve a speckled look. I then adhered the prepared panel directly to the card base. As a final touch I used metallic paint to add some strokes on the flowers. It is quite subtle, but it shines beautifully when tilted in the light :)

I hope you like how my card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and keep safe!

Hugs,

Jinny

A great combination of the flowers with this sweetly coloured image and I love your handmade inky red framing! I can just make out the subtle metallic sparkle on the flowers! Thank you so much for playing along with our theme at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge. It's great to see you
