A Birthday Card

Hello and welcome. I hope all of you are staying safe and well. I got a little crafty again to help my indoor isolation, and this is the card I made. After stamping the beautiful (big) flower image, I colored it in with my watercolor pencils. I kind of messed up some parts of the image, so I decided to fussy cut it and save what I could. I then heat embossed the entire image using sparkle embossing powder. Some parts of it are pretty thin and fragile, so I heat embossed it twice. To assemble the card, I followed the sketch provided by MFT challenge blog. It’s hard to see on the photos, but I also stamped the front of my card base using VersaMark ink and a woodgrain stamp.

I hope you like how my card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and keep safe!

Hugs,

Jinny

Stamps used: Fresh-Cut Flowers Background, Birthday Buds (My Favorite Things), Woodgrain (Hero Arts)
Dies used: Lacey Edgers 1 (Pinkfresh Studio)

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
(I actually like to use purple on my cards and love to pair it with yellow. They are complementary, so they enhance each other so beautifully)
