A Thank You Card for Dream Valley

Hey there and welcome. I hope your week got off to a fantastic start. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Dream Valley Challenges. Our theme is “Anything Goes”, and I hope you’ll find some time to join us.

For this challenge I made a card for a change. The image I used is an old one from Digi Darla, and I colored it with Prisma color pencils. Next, I die cut my sentiment to do the eclipse technique. To finish it off, I applied Crystal Stickles onto my sentiment, and my card was done.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

A Bookmark in Pink for ‘A Place to Start Challenge’

Hey there and welcome. I hope this month got off to a fantastic start for you. In this post, I would like to share my DT creation for A Place to Start Challenge Blog. The theme for October is as always Anything Goes with the optional twist of using the color pink.

For this challenge, I made a bookmark. It’s one of my favorite ways of using up all the little scraps of patterned paper. After making the base, I colored the gorgeous image called Tulip Flower Girl with markers. Next, I fussy cut and adhered it directly onto my bookmark. Then, I added white highlights and faux-stitching lines. For stamping the sentiment, I used Rich Cocoa Memento ink.

A Girly Christmas Shadow Box for LPOCF

Hey there and welcome. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. Our theme is as always “Anything Goes”, and we have All Dressed Up as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us in the fun.

For this challenge, I made a gift box in pink. The adorable image I used is called Santa Post, and I colored it with markers. After coloring, I die cut my sentiment to do the eclipse technique. This is my most favorite way to add the greeting to my creations. I also added white highlights and distressed the edges. Next, I scored and folded the box. Before assembling it, I adhered some ribbon in silver, my colored panel, and the DP. As a finishing touch, I applied some Crystal Stickles, and my box was done. To take the pictures, I put two Hershey’s snack-sized chocolates, but six Hershey’s Nuggets fit in as well.
