Oh my, it´s a OLC

Hello and welcome. Today I am sharing with you a one layer card. I don´t know about you, but I find it quite difficult and challenging to make a one layer card.
The image I stamped with reddish brown pigment ink and heat embossed it with clear glitter powder. Most of the times I color my images using watercolor pencils and therefore love to heat emboss my images.
To color the image, I first scribbled the colors carelessly because the water does the blending anyway. To make the coloring more defined and vibrant, I usually pick up additional colors directly off the pencils. When I color the hair, I kind of “flick” the brush. After the coloring was done and dried, I masked off the image (hello, Post It) and flicked some blue, green and orange spots and specks on to the background. To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment and rounded the corners.
I hope you like how my card turned out.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Stamps used: Snorklin´ Beatrice, sentiment is from a PS stamp set (Surf and Turf)

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:
