A Bookmark for Dream Valley

Hey there and welcome. I hope you’re doing very well. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Dream Valley Challenges. Our theme is “Add Embellishments”, and I hope you’ll find some time to join us.

For this challenge I made a bookmark. I love to make them whenever I want to use up DP scraps, so I had a great time making a bunch of those bookmark bases. Next, I colored the image called Flowers for You with markers. I couldn’t find this digi on the All Dressed Up Etsy shop, so maybe it’s discontinued, I don’t know. After coloring, I fussy cut the image and adhered it directly on the bookmark. To embellish it, I added some sequins and twine.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

A Bookmark in Black, White, and Red

Hey there and welcome. I hope your week got off to a great start. In this post, I would like to share my DT creation for A Place to Start Challenge Blog. The theme for April is as always Anything Goes with the optional twist of using Black, White, and Red.

I’ve never tried this color combo before, so this challenge was actually a really big challenge for me :-) Well, I just grabbed some DP pieces and started to make a background panel. But some strips were just too short to cover a whole card front. And as I could not find any more scraps, I decided to make a bookmark instead. As embellishments, I adhered some white flowers and leaves and also added some twine.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

A Gift Box for LPOCF

Hey there and welcome. I hope you’re doing very well. In today’s post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. Our theme is as always “Anything Goes”, and we have Dr. Digis as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us in the fun.

To make this box, I started with coloring the adorable image called Alice the Alpaca with markers. Then I scored and folded the box base. Next, I cut the DP and also die cut the sentiment. After that, I first adhered all the pieces onto the folded base and then assembled the box.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny

A Spring Gift Box for Creative Knockouts

Hi there and welcome. I hope you have a fantastic week so far. In this post, I’d like to share my DT creation for Creative Knockouts. Our theme for the next two weeks is ‘Embossing Delight’, and we have SheepSki Designs as our generous sponsor, so I really hope you will find some time to join us.

The image I played with for this challenge is called Buttercups, and I colored it with markers. Then I scored, folded, and cut my box base. After that, I dry embossed some yellow colored card stock pieces and adhered them on the box. Next, I fussy cut the image and glued it directly on the front. The sentiment will be added when needed.

I hope you like how it turned out, and I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

Hugs,

Jinny
